We've expanded our increased weight limit to include points between Europe and the U.S.!
To help you keep pace with the time-sensitive demands of your customers, American Airlines Cargo has increased the weight limit on our popular Priority Parcel Service (PPS) to 100lbs. per piece. The increased weight limit is available for shipments between Europe and the U.S. (including San Juan). This expansion will provide you with greater options for your heavier, time-sensitive packages. In addition, we have removed the single side limit on package length to allow you to take greater advantage of our Next Flight Out Priority Parcel Service.
Priority Parcel Service guarantees the highest boarding priority, fastest transit time and shortest acceptance and recovery for shipments to and from points between Europe and the U.S. (including San Juan). No advance booking required.
Please note:
- Total package size limits for PPS will remain the same (overall size must not exceed 90 total inches per piece).
- New air waybill stock with the additional weight break category is available.
- AA Cargo will allow hand-written entries for the higher weight break on existing air waybill stock for your convenience, if needed.
